- Tinker Bell has many friends:
Rossetta: nature talent fairy- plants sproutlets
Rosetta the garden fairy is genteel and mannered, but also has a quick wit and a ton of charm. Ro shares a sassy streak with Tink. She always tries to look her best, and loves giving beauty tips and makeovers to her friends and flowers. Fairies never tell their age, of course, but Rosetta arrived in Pixie Hollow before most of her friends – so she’s a little wiser than the others.
Silvermist:water talent fairy-puts dew on spiderwebs
Water fairy Sil has a delightfully offbeat and upbeat way of looking at everything. Very much a free spirit, she often listens to her heart more than her head. She’s an easygoing soul who is eager to please and makes friends easily. Her sense of loyalty is unmatched, and rubs off on Tink. Sil’s guilty pleasure is listening to rumors and gossip from the babbling brook.
Irridessa: light talent fairy-makes rainbows/lights fireflys
Iridessa, one of the most talented light fairies, is a detail-oriented perfectionist. She’s passionate about her work, but can also be a worry wart – she tries to see the bright side of things, but often smells disaster. It can take some convincing to get her to go along with a risky or dangerous plan (a stubbornness that Tink certainly has too). Sometimes it’s just Dess being Dess, but other times her cautious stance turns out to be well-founded. In the end, though, she will always do anything to help a friend.
Fawn: helps birds learn how to fly
Animal fairy Fawn is a rascally tomboy full of mirth and mischief. She’s always ready to play, and the more rough-and-tumble the game, the better. Fawn is a born prankster—she likes to play tricks on Iridessa – and Tink loves her mischievous nature. She speaks many different animal languages, and the burplike toad-speak is her favorite. Fawn arrived the most recently of Tink’s fairy friends.
Vidia: fast-flying fairy. Selfish and mean-spirited, and zips around everywhere!
Vidia is a self-centered fast-flying fairy who thinks all fairies are not created equal. She prides herself on being the fastest fairy there is, and scoffs at the notion that anyone else – especially a fairy like Tink – is anywhere near her level. Vidia tends to be secretive, keeping extra pixie dust locked in a box hidden under her bed and racing dragonflies when the other fairies aren’t looking. She also uses sugary phrases, such as “darling” and “dear” when addressing other fairies, though everyone knows she doesn’t mean them. Still, there’s more to Vidia than her prickly exterior…
Terrence: dust keeper male fairy or sparrowman
Though he loves to have fun, he also is kind and thoughtful, and has great wisdom of the heart. Terence has a definite soft spot for Tink. Terence has one of the most important jobs in Pixie Hollow. Each day, he rises before dawn to help hand out pixie dust to the other fairies. Fairies need a measured teacup of dust each day in order to fly and do magic.
